Testimonies of some of the beneficiaries of Solace Ministries UK

 Pascaline A. Umuhoza - The girl in the picture is 13years old and is been looked after by her brother who is 22years old. She has 2 other brothers and 3 sisters. She lives in Gikondo. Both her parents died during the genocide. Her mother died while carrying her on her back and running.She is in Primary 5 with a year remaining in Primary school. 

Horusenga Augustin - The boy in the picture is 11years old and is standing next to his mother.He is from Gikongoro in the North of Rwanda. He has 2 older siblings. Mother is a widow and works as a cleaner in a paint store. She was pregnant during the genocide and was badly beaten. Her husband, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and her parents were all killed during the genocide.She has no accommodation. Her other 2 children have no support and are in need of sponsors.

She feels very lonely and it was a joy to see the smile on her face and ray of hope when we informed her we had found a sponsor for one of her children.
